How to remove chocolate stain from your carpet
Halloween is just around the corner and those chocolate stains just have a way of finding our carpets and they often remain long after Halloween is over. It’s always better to get to work on those stains as soon as possible. If you have excess chocolate on the carpet, gently scrape it away and dispose of it. Add a tablespoon of liquid hand dish washing detergent to a couple of cups of warm water. Gently wet the chocolate stain and sponge until thoroughly dampened. If you recently purchased a new carpet you may find that the vacuum filter bag fills up quickly with carpet fuzz. This is normal and does not mean that you have a defective carpet. Cut pile carpet made from fibers 2-8 inches in length are spun together to create a soft fluffy wool-like look and feel. In the manufacturing process these yarns are secured to the carpet with the latex backing.
