It’s possible to clean your home – and help take care of your family – through the use of essential oils.
Lemon, Lavender and Peppermint are three of the most useful essential oils.
The queen for home cleaning is lemon. This little fruit has the power to shine and disinfect. Use lemon to help polish silver, clean out the dishwasher and (combined with vinegar) scrub the oven.
Lavender is a great non chemical alternative to antiseptic sprays: its got antibacterial, antibiotic and antiviral properties.
Lavender can also be used in a spray bottle with water to freshen up the smell in a room (or after cooking!)
With allergy season in full bloom, families may want to turn to peppermint. A bit of peppermint can sooth muscles – like the ones down a scratchy throat.
Learn more about all the uses of essential oils during a workshop 9 a.m. Saturday at the Clean N Fresh office, 15815 S. 46th St., Phoenix. DoTerra will present this helpful workshops for free – and you may also walk away with some free goodies. During the workshop, you will learn to make your own cleaners, naturally, as well as how to use essential oils to improve your family’s health.
We hope to see you there!
